Located East of Normal Heights and North of City Heights, Kensington is a San Diego neighborhood loaded with character.  The Kensington neighborhood can be traced back to 1910 when the San Diego Electric Railway Company was convinced to extend the Adams Avenue streetcar line further East into the new Kensington Park Subdivision.

Today, Kensington is known for its wide selection of single family residences built in the Spanish Revival style.  Additional residences designed by famed architect Richard Requa dot the neighborhood.
